Measures Against the Novel Coronavirus at Nakano Residence Memorial Hall

Our facility consists of a large garden (Senkeien) and a residence.

The garden is spacious, the walking paths are wide, and the residence itself is a large building, so even when crowded, there are almost no situations where the so-called "Three Cs" (Closed spaces, Crowded places, and Close-contact settings) occur. Furthermore, to take meticulous measures, we have installed 25 ozone generators, which are considered the most effective for sterilizing the new coronavirus, in our exhibition halls, the residence, and restrooms. While ozone has a slight smell, please understand that this is evidence that it is effectively working.

However, our rest areas will be closed this year as they can become crowded and people tend to stay for an extended period.

When visiting, please be sure to bring and wear a mask, and maintain a proper distance as you explore the facility. Note that Senkeien is not crowded, so please enjoy the autumn foliage while breathing in fresh air.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

"Key Points of Measures"

The key points of our measures against the new coronavirus are listed below.
Visitors are asked to wear masks and maintain a reasonable distance while touring the facility.

  • 25 ozone generators have been installed in various exhibition halls, within the residence, and restrooms.
※Due to the smell of ozone, the generators will operate on a timer before opening, at noon, and after closing.
  • Alcohol disinfectant is placed at ticket vending machines, automatic gates, and in front of restrooms.
※Customers are expected to use it voluntarily.
※Staff will regularly check and refill the disinfectant.
  • Strict enforcement of mask-wearing for all staff.
  • If a visitor forgets to bring a mask, we have them available for free at our reception.
