Regarding Photography Rules (Inside the Mansion, Mansion Grounds, and Senkei Garden)

In recent years, with the proliferation of smartphones and digital cameras, there have been disruptions to viewing and operations due to photography methods that do not adhere to rules. We kindly ask for your strict compliance with the following photography rules.

Our facility sees a large number of visitors and groups from all over the country during the autumn, regardless of whether it is a weekday or the weekend.

Photography inside the mansion (both private and commercial photography) is permitted with cameras only, regardless of whether it is free or charged. Tripods, other equipment, bags for setting up photography, and other baggage are strictly prohibited from being brought inside, as they can cause inconvenience to other visitors and result in complaints. Photography that occupies a space for an extended period is not allowed.

All commercial photography, including photography by wedding venues bringing in clients, requires permission. Please understand that the general rule for commemorative photography at weddings, etc., is to take candid photos. Please note that permission may not be granted or a fee may be charged in some cases.

Senkei Garden is a garden open for exploration, and since the premises are extensive, tripods and baggage are not a problem. You may take photos within reasonable limits while considering other visitors. However, please note that permission is required for commercial photography, film location shoots, etc., that are intended to be widely distributed or advertised. Whether permission is granted, and whether it is charged or free, will be determined based on our facility's internal regulations.
